A semi detached residential property built in the heart of Horsham, built by the towns largest brewery in 1904 and converted in 1917 to a cornershop, changing hands of many proprietors over the years. The final of whom closed their till for the final time and converted the old shop and attached residential property into one single dwelling.

Fast forward to 2020, when our client purchased it seeing the potential it had to offer.. The property was handed over to Bow Projects from day one to totally gut back to its bare bones. It was modernised with a new hot water system servicing 2 new exquisite bathrooms, new central heating system and under floor heating across the entire ground floor. A well thought out lighting plan creates adaptable spaces to relax and undwind when needed.

The project brief was to restore this property to its former glory after many years of commercial use. We uncovered once lost original features, reinstating former period details and installing cornice throughout to celebrate the high ceilings. No expense was spared on materials, ranging from oak boards to marble, but also making use of removed floor joists upcycled to form raised beds in the exquisitely re-landscaping garden. A bold vision by the client, expertly delivered by Bow Projects.
